1. Arianna Huffington doesn’t need an alarm to wake up in the morning

Arianna Huffington – author, sleep evangelist and co-founder of The Huffington Post wakes up naturally without an alarm clock!

The definition of the word ‘alarm’ means a sudden fear or distress caused by an awareness of danger and it signals that something is not right. So why would you like to start your day with an ‘alarm!’ ?

She begins the day by taking a deep breath and being grateful . She meditates for thirty minutes and starts her workout routine with 30 minutes of cardio and 10 minutes of yoga.

She says :

I’ve made small changes over time; for example, when I lived in Los Angeles I was fond of morning walks and hikes. I’m very open to experimenting – I’m sure before long I’ll learn about something new I’ll want to add to my routine.

2. Mark Cuban’s  workout routine reflects the way he does business

“The hardest part is those nights when you beat after a long day. If you have to work out at 9 or 10 p.m., you have to work out at 9 or 10 p.m. You can’t talk yourself out of it.”

Mark Cuban, owner of the Dallas Mavericks is a busy man but still doesn’t compromise on his fitness. He does an hour of cardio six days a week, plays basketball and also takes kickboxing and Latin fusion aerobic classes.

She starts her day with a power walk with her friends, sometimes goes for a barre or a spin class.

“I do my workouts in the morning, and often I’ll take someone from my team. The person I’m meeting with can pick the class, whether it’s a spin or barre class, or going for a power walk. It’s hard to run and talk—I haven’t mastered that yet.”

Despite being extremely busy she goes to the gym regularly. She eats the same breakfast every day! This helps her avoid wasting her mental energy on deciding what to eat and focus more on real decisions. She eats an apple, yogurt, almond and a salad.
